Hondata KPRO who would buy it???
Ok I am curious IF Hondata came around and worked with us and eventually got a Kpro out for the TSX who would buy one?
Let me be the first to say
HONDATA MAKE A KPRO AND I WILL BE THE FIRST TO BUY YOU!!! With that being said who else would like to be able to comepletely custom tune your car to each application and modification that is unique to your ride? I know even some of you 1st reflash buyers will eventually change your mods so you will need this too. So speak up lets be heard!!!

K-Pro + ECU is a much better investment than just upgrading your existing ECU because you can sell it separatly from the car and recover most of your money. It will probably cost you less to do that than it would to buy a reflash.

actually my friend was just talkin to me about his k pro.
so i guess i would be in.
we only have to pay the difference between a reflash and a kpro if we want to upgrade anyway.
so i'm in.

Hello all, ECU here. Is the K-Pro a user programmable ECU? From reading the posts here I'm guessing that the Hondata reflash reprograms the ECU with a different performance profile (currently optimized for a certain mods of specific brand) whereas the K-Pro is an ECU that the user can program on his/her own with any number of performance profiles depending on the mods the user has. Is that right?

The time taken from the first reflash of the RSX to the K-Pro for the RSX was 18 months. The TSX ECU is completely different from the RSX.
We will examine the options and see what is possible, but cannot promise any product and any timeframe.

i'm in 100% if kpro came out.......
plus if one guy tunes it for injen cai/ dc header/ fijitsubo exhaust/ ips cams (hehe) (just trying to mix up companies and not having them all from comptech) and u have the exact same mods u can politely ask to see his setup and u can copy it also, granted each engine is slightly different the tuning will almost dead on and all it takes is the first person to do it.

hehe its WAY too early to tell.
I would leave Hondata alone about it for a while. They still are having issues with the 2005 Model Year ECU's....
K-Pro is a long ways away.
repeat: long ways away

I don't care about the 2005 model ECU's lol. I want a Kpro lol. Just swap your 05 ecu with a wrecked 04 and have the dealership flash it to match your key and immobilizer and then send it to hondata. there problem solved. =)
