HONDATA Heatshield gasket members
I just wanted to see how many of you actually done this mod... I'm about to get do mine ...it's going to cost me about $60 for the gasket and $65 for the install... I thought it was damm good price for the install...

Plan on two hours to do it right. You have to cool down the engine, drain coolant, remove intake tube, various hoses, sensors, coolant lines, intake manifold support bracket, intake manifold, injector base, clean up oil, replace gasket and reinstall everything plus refill radiator. Then thermal cycle the engine, and refill coolant recovery bottle.

If you want to cut corners then the answer is no, you can plug the hoses on the throttle body. You have a $29,000 car why are we looking to save a few bucks by cutting corners? Are we talking about a TSX or a Ford Focus?
