Hi i'm looking for improvement
I bought a 05 black tsx with nav and factory spoiler for 28.5 grand.....
Well, so far I'm in LOVE with this car. I love how it handles, but I can't say i'm satisfied with the performance. I'm thinking about getting a-spec suspension + exhaust + intake. I'm not very knowledgble with car, so here are my questions, 1. If I install an after market exhaust, what kind of problems will it cause?, 2 For the intake, I'm going with AEM short ram, I read that CAI can cause damage in your engine, so Short ram won't cause any damage at all??? If so, what are they? Thanks in adavance!!!

I'm not such a crazy car modder, but I know some info.
Stick with a CAI the chances of your car hydrolocking is driving in to 2 feet of water... aleast up to the wheel. By that point your car is almost submerged. So unless you live in flooded areas you don't have to worry.

A-spec suspension isn't bad everyone says their drop isn't enough, but you can shop for it on ebay 600 bucks or http://www.acuraparts247.com/sunnyside/jsp/home.jsp
I was quoted by the dealer it would cost 1000 in labor and 800 for the kit.....
I heard it wasn't too bad to do it yourself.
Look into getting a rear sway bar, people say comptech.
Exhaust you have a few selections, only thing i'd say bad about them is the cost for a young kid like me =)

Seriously, I see two problems with the exhaust: 1) people seem to think that it doesn't gain much, from what I've been reading online, and 2) some exhausts are going to be louder. The last thing I want is to listen to a drone going down the highway....

hahah thanks guys, I'm 18 myself, well turning 19 pretty soon. I have no job, this was my grad + b-day + christmas all together hahaha, but it was so worth it and I think i got a good deal on the car. I have around 600 bucks, i'm thinking about either getting that a-spec or the rims, as soon as either one is done i will post pics =)

Read my sig. That will get you started. I'm also looking into a set of Tein Basics next. Add it all up, and you're looking at a grippier, quicker, and overall happier TSX after a good 2 grand.

hahah damn, classes are pretty cheap, since i'm in some jr college honor's program. I got into UCI but decided not to move there since my parents didn't want me to. But i really do want to move out to OC tho so after 2 years i will be theeerre. I looked at some comptech springs, The dealership here said they will give me 10 percent on labor and also 10 percent on the part, how low should i lower the car? I do not wanna drag the bottom when i go over speed bumps, so i was thinking around like 1 ~ 1.5 inch? input will be appreciated =)
