Help! Installing oil catch...
Ok, I have a problem. I'm trying to install my oil catch can and I was thinking about putting it where JTso put it here:
but I seem to have something there:
Anyone know what it is? If I can't remove it any ideas where else could I put this thing... I have one about the same size as Jonny's. Thanks guys!

Hmmmm... easy to remove my ass! That bolt on the bottom is a PITA! I can't reach it from the top so I guess I'm gonna have to remove the bumper and go at it from underneath.
Lol, the funny thing is I will probably leave the bumper off so I can replace the headlight and the grille this week. So for a while my car wont have a front or rear bumper, front grille, tail lights, and one headlight!

JTso,
Question... the line running behind the battery and intake manifold; does anything back there get to hot for the line to touch. Right now its just free back there but I'm wondering if there is anything I should zip tie it away from?

I either need to clean my valve cover or just buy a new one and sell mine. yours is so much brighter red than mine and its obvious someone spilt oil on mine before me.

Btw, looking good. Could you post a pic of the mounting bracket?

Yeah I figured about the hoses but the one in the front came with the Cusco can so I figured I would just buy matching hose for the other one. The hose I bought is all purpose stuff, but mentions automotive... and is thicker than the hose they gave me with the can. I might end up buying some black stuff and redoing it but for now I'll leave that.
He's a pic of the mounting bracket, it got kinda dark out so I had to use the flash, I'll take a better one later. With the can they gave me the plate that slides into the can, (its a "T" with the top part sliding into a groove on the can) The bottom of the "T" has six holes in it. They also gave me two "L" brackets. I'm sure I didn't use the hardware like intended but it works so
EDIT: You can see the second row of three empty holes on the "T", I had to use the inside holes to fit the can. Then you can tell I just used both the "L" brackets to create the shoot for the battery tie down bar to go through. Thanks for thinking of that btw Johnny, I dont think I ever would have

Can someone please explain to me the benefit of the oil catch can, and where to get one?
Looks like a cheap mod, and my air tube is already gone, and I assume there's some benefit, so I may pursue this. Thanks guys.
(search is not my friend looking for words like 'oil' and 'can')
