Getting excited......

i am getting so excited. please no mod haters here! Modding your car is like having your own personal toy that is all yours, all yours! being the car nut i am, racing my 944t and loving my TSX i cant wait to start my exhaust system. In another post i described what is gonna go on:

i am keeping the stock mufflers and removing the resonator having a custom bend and weld of a new Y-pipe, 2 1/2 inch pipes, and even a custom fabricated 4-2-1 header. Little MONSTER GARAGE madness(hahahhah). A custom job would be the best route for OUR setup. The exhaust is already considered tuned and perfect for the car. You have to keep the balance of the twin look. But with my injen CAI, Hondata(future), VTEC adjustments, better fuel management, and a custom less restricitive exhaust, custom stainless headers, lighter wheels(volks for my birthday!!!).....i am hoping for 35hp gain to the wheels and some sufficent torque changes.

i know some of you guys out there disagree with modifications and changing the guts of the vehicle but some of us love the passion of working on our machine and always wanting more out of it.

i def. will have pics up when it all happens and have multiple dynos done. Hopefully i can use my uncle's shop hours at porche to get my dynos done.

i'm with you NJtsx.

i am planning a little custom exhaust work. i just can't afford $1K for a new exhaust system. i was thinking of cutting off the 2 mufflers and putting up something less restrictive. by leaving the stock resonator in place upstream, it shouldn't sound too rice. hopefully i'll pick up some ponies too.
