Fiberglass trunk??? yes no? maybe?
I am thinking about doing my trunk in fiberglass...I know I would never EVER be able to haul anything more than plastic groccery bags. But With a system some tv's do you think it would weigh more than the MDF systems? I mean fiberglass is lighter mdf...so I should be ok with the whole trunk right? Or should I just stick to cust mdf boxes?

Glass! Fo shizzle! Way way lighter. Not sure about the whole trunk though. I'm not a fan of full trunk glassing unless the car is a trailer queen for shows. It's just not practicle for everyday use.
Did you ever convert your NAV screen to play video?

No need to be all one or the other, right? Use glass where you can as strength v. weight, it's lighter, but it sucks for sharp edges and large flat spaces. If any part of your design is big, box like, and lacking in contours, use MDF, then fiberglass for the rest.
