Factory Leather Seat Kits

I have a TSX and a couple of months ago I was working on the house. I was running to the hardware store and had a screw driver in my back pocket. When I sat down, I popped a hole in the bottom portion of the driver's seat.

I was looking on acura.com and found out that the gray leather kits are $600. Does anyone know of any places that sells the factory leather kits for cheaper than that? I have to get it fixed because the car is on lease.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Best I could find was $525 + shipping. Have you tried a salvage yard search?

Any suggestions for salvage yard searches. I have tried to do them before but nothing came of it. Except for about 50 emails from junk yards that didnt have what I needed.

No, I haven't had a need to do a search like that yet.

www.car-part.com ?

Just don't "request a quote"... simply look for cars in your desired area (or all of US/Canada), and then contact the junker and inquire.

I like to search various different parts to find a junker that has "anything" to do with the car I'm looking for, then call them. IE: You might not see "TSX Seat" listed anywhere, but you might find "TSX Radio" or whatever. Call that junker and ask a live person if they might have the seat covers, etc...

If it's just the driver's seat you need fixed, you can go to a shop that does car interiors and just have the panel replaced. They just cut the stiches and sew in a new piece. You could also go to Katzkin's website (http://www.katzkin.com/05/FC/mainFS.html) and see if there's an installer in your area.
