Is factory and Jdm fog lamp same model or not?
Hey I wonder if factory and Jdm fog lamp are same model or not? Because I had experience with Catz foglamp on my accord for 6 years. One foglamp got cracked and hitted by rock or else when I saw it. I have to buy other right catz foglamp at $85 dollar. My concern is that I have Euro-r kit with foglamp at garage and plan to put it on TSX pretty soon and kind of worry if foglamp get crack if it happen then I have to go thru BPT and order it and it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get it. I just wonder. If it is not same model from factory then who has this kits and foglamp then we have to be careful with this foglamp on factory and Jdm. Thanks, George

Don't think it's the same. I just got the USDM fogs as well (for the wiring) and took a look at both of the lights. They appear to be different. The leveling adjustments are not the same and the USDM fogs look like they are a bigger oval than the JDM ones.

The level adjustment hole on the bumper is from the side on the US fogs (through the front air dam or whatever it's called), while level adjustment on the JDM fogs are on the bottom.
I don't know of a hole on the bottom of the bumper, but then again, I haven't gotten that far with my installation.
Not sure if that is what you wanted to know.

Hey cmf, you are correct! I got a message from BPT, Morris said that foglamp are not same. So, we have to be careful driving around out there with foglamp if the car is too low. I called Acura dealer and asked them how much for clips, bolts, screws on kits, it will be $245 dollar. It cost too much money. I was thinking about going to auto zone to get that screw, and clips and bolts for good deal. I already make copy the kit instructions from www.hond. It will help us if we use the instruction and see which parts we needs. I am still waiting for James to call me when they get Carbon Grey Pearl, I am thinking about 2004 or 2005, depends on car costing. I want to get TSX in summer. I love this kit, foglamp, they are awesome. I hope everything will work out for us.

When you are ready to buy your bolts, let me know. I got it off one of the Acura guys on ebay. Paid 124 shipped for all the bolts. Yes, it's expensive, but cheaper than most shops and the local dealer.
Also got the OEM fogs from him at 245, but will sell the housing and lights to another board member for him to have replacements.
Replacements for the glass parts of the OEM alone are 90 bucks each side. Sell both for 100 shipped with housings and everybody wins.
All in all, the damn lights are getting more expensive than the kit itself.
