I think they all sound great. I like the bigger look of the Greddy, I like the sound of the Fuji in the higher rpms, and I like the sound of the Comptech at idle best. I'd love to hear a comparison of the 3 in motion. Exhaust always sounds different in gear than revving.
That was one thing we totally forgot to do. We planned on getting rev vids and in motion vids. Next time I guess.

Just wanted to let people know that the guy I purchased my Greddy Evo2 from still has 2 in stock that he's willing to sell for the discounted price of $735 shipped. This is an awesome deal!

PM me if you want details.

p.s. i dont have software to blur our plates in the video, it doesn't matter to me, but if you guys want me to try to do something i will, i just wanted to get these on here as quick as i could
great post, hope this helps out potential exhaust buyers.

just wish you guys did vids from the cabin, so we could hear the interior noise.

That's actually a very good point. I wish the other cars revved higher in their clips.

Per xuimod's request I re-upped the clip of my car (Fujitsubo) on a dyno, posted at the end of this thread.

By all accounts you'll receive, the Legalis R is the quietest catback available for the TSX, with the likely exception of the Tanabe Medallion Touring (which wasn't available until just recently).

The Fujitsubo also had an intake so that's probably what you heard. I revved mine pretty hard and that's what you get. Its the nice G sound. Oh, I'm the one with the Greddy Evo2

Plus I'm reflashed, so you can hear me touch the lowered VTEC point up top, which makes it sound a LOT louder by comparison. And yeah the CAI gives it a much more "raw" sound when the throttle plate is open (e.g. engine is spinning up).

Also, there's not really a safe way to rev much higher than we did in neutral. What he's looking for is a clip of a dyno pull or a drive-by, where the engine can really be wound out.

You install that CAI yet? I heard some clips of TSX's with injen CAI installed, they sound nasty (in a good way). I'm curious how a Greddy Evo2 + injen CAI combination would sound, especially on the exhaust end.

rmpage, along with the cai, header and cat, does the cat-back exhaust add any appreciable hp/tq (seat-of-pants or dyno if you did one)? or is it still the 3-odd hp gain that most exhaust mfr's claim (in other words, mostly there for the look & sound)?

I sort of doubt it, but I wouldn't know if it did. It was one of the first things I did. Yeah I went about it backwards.

Thanks. I don't think there's really a "frontwards" to bolt-on mods, though. All in what makes you happy. (Or, in what your wife won't really notice, depending on how you're going about things.)
