Exhaust question

So I've seen a lot of you guys say that the stock exhaust (catback section) flows well stock and you wont see a gain other than sound really. I don't need the sound. But I was curious, do you think I would see a good gain with a header (4-2-1 design), and high flow cat mated to the stock exhaust behind it? I feel like it might be a good combination to make some more power. Any thoughts? Or it could be a huge bottle neck and I'm a retard lol I'm new to acuras.

The cat-back is probably going to produce the least amount of gains per dollar spent. For example, many run from $800-1k, and gain ~5-10HP.

An intake would produce comparable gains for a fraction of the money. A Hondata Reflash (if the car is 04-06) should probably be first no matter what! Especially at $295!

For the OP who is new to Acura's, there are some threads that discuss common mods and an order to do them in, which is mostly based on "bang for the buck"
