wow those are now my second favorite dual exhaust tips. I like how the tips atleast appear to be really thick with the angle cut towards the inside. Cant wait to see some rear shots and also hear a soundclip of it.

Here is a rear shot. I'll take more plus sound clips when I get a chance. The Tanabe MT pipe design before the mufflers are basically the same as the SMH. The MT is slightly quieter than the SMH during WOT and under load condition in low speed like going up a hill. Other than that, it's as quiet as the SMH during idle and cruising under steady speed. The pipe ID is ever so slightly smaller than the SMH when measured with a digital caliper. This applies to all pipe pieces and muffler inlet. The initial fitment of the muffler hanging postion was off. The left side was lower than the right, but I corrected it with this method. The exhaust tips fit really well in the under spoiler opening, but the SMH tips seem more aggressive.

Those tips are part of the exhaust he purchased and installed. The do not come off to install on something else for instance.

The flare right as the tips come out of the muffler looks bad. That said, I love the chamfered tip ID, and the flare seems like it isn't visible from normal viewing positions anyway.
In fact, I'm thinking about selling my Fujitsubo since its in-cabin noise is a bit more than I'd like it to be.
I think you should take a video of your next dyno pull like I did.

Ah, see, my dyno shop uses two guys so I get to roll around back and film the exhaust note (while dodging the debris flung at me by the spinning tires).

Here it is... It's a 58 Meg file. I figure you guy wouldn't mind since you all have high speed connection.
However, make sure to right click and save target as.... Then play on your computer.
The camera is positioned 2 feet off the ground, 4 feet away from the exhaust. Here is the sequence...
start engine, idle, -> 2000 rpm & hold, -> 3000 rpm & hold, then back to idle.
Btw, I also positioned the exhaust tips slightly higher to fill the opening better.
However, make sure to right click and save target as.... Then play on your computer.
