Electric superchargers
Forget about it. Our supercharger dyno stuggles to power an M90. The motor we use weighs about 400 pounds and draws 100,000 watts. That's the equivilant of nearly dead shorting 10 Optima batteries in parallel! Do you really think a 120 watt fan is going to do anything? No. The only thing it will do is restrict the airflow your engine is trying to draw in.

The Scion XB has an available Electric Super Charger.
I have heard mixed reviews about the below product, but I dont see how 6psi of boost is good for the engine if you dont adjust the ECU accordingly??????

Perfectly workable solution, however it has a few drawbacks. They aren't sustainable unless you use one of those 200 amp alternators to charge the battery bank between runs. They can't boost for longer than 20-30 seconds. Boost is limited to around 5-6psi across the models I've seen. Finally, you still need a fuel management solution for the TSX to become available before you could use it.
They are a neat idea but in the end I would vastly prefer a crank-driven compressor.
