does any other company make hf cats for our cars?

i tried searchin but i could only find the random tech and some other company that seemed to have died.

i used catco cats in the past and ive been pretty happy with the gains but everyoen on here seems to go for the RT one. is there any reason for that or is that the best one out for our car

thanks for reading

im getting Metal Cat very soon. but you have to ask someone/exhaust shop who can make it into a complete Cat unit because Metal Cat is only a core. http://www.metalcat.com.au/
Metal Cat is very popular in other platform like GTR, Evo, STi, etc..
the famous E shift pro cats for 3G TL use Metal Cat too for the cores.

Hytech exhaust full set up uses Renault Catalytic converter

here is the description :
This OEM cat is the cleanest and most durable cat on the market, today. These 100K mile cats offer the least restriction and cleanest exhaust.
Also, they have been used by the US test labs to get the grey market cars to pass emissions. The inlet and outlet sizes range from 2 inches to 4 inches.

Its been told to me that the 'Renault' cat is actually a Metal cat. They are supposed to be the same thing. Its supposed to be a great product, but there are others too that could be custom fab'd to fit the TSX. The RT cat is the only high flow cat I know of that direct bolts on out-of-the-box.

Also seems that not alot of places sell the RT Cat which sucks because there are no competitive prices..

The Metal cat is a great cat. The 2.25" core that I'm currently using performs like a straight pipe (also in 2.25") without CEL.

Hmm.. I thought that the price I sold them at was pretty competitive since I am selling them at dealer price.

And to the OP most go with the RT Cat b/c it has proven gains and is a bolt on unit. It is also stainless steel body with a 300 cell metallic substrate.

I got mine from Excelerate. I don' t think the price was unfair at all, a custom one from a metal cat core would be much more expensive if you have a shop fab it up. (we're not all jtso after all.) His shipping and service is excellent too.
