A couple fujita cai install questions
So after a long grueling 4 hrs, I finally installed my fujita cai. The bolt securing the resonator was as much of a btch as everyone has mentioned. I tried the wheel off method and that didn't cut it. So after about 45 minutes of trying, I just took the entire front bumper off to get to that damn bolt off. Now to the questions...
The CAI came with two clamps for the hose that connectes the intake to the throttle body. One was 2.75" and the other was 3.00". I couldn't get the 2.75" clamp to go around the throttle body so I used the 3.0" clamp instead. I then used one of my own 4" clamps to secure the intake to the hose. Will this be OK?
Second, I noticed that with the injen cai, there are clamps that secure the hose connection between the EVAP vent to the intake. The fujita does not have this. Should I go out and buy some more clamps? If so, what size does the Injen use? You can see the clampless hose in this pic:
Lastly, when I removed the resonator box, I noticed that there was still a tube that leads up all the way to the top of the engine bay near the battery. Do I need to remove this? It is behind the red square I drew:
Thanks in advance!

I Quit
your clamp is fine as long as it is tight, for EVAP if that rubber is tight on there i.e. you had the stretch it a bit to make it fit or push hard it is fine without clamps. For the little rubber hose the bolt is relatively easy to reach

but if you've already closed everything up, i don't know if you can remove the radiator cover and possibly get to the bolt from up top.

I finished up this morning, putting the stock bumper on was truly a pain. I also got that bolt and tube out. Vids will come soon. Thanks all.

So I've been playing around with the CAI for a little and I LOVE it. The engine sounds a lot more deeper. I just have one question, at WOT I hear a very high pitched whistle--is this normal?
