The warranty isn't covered by Acura, it's covered by the Acura dealer that installed your supercharger. If you go to another Acura dealer with your Comptech supercharger, they may or may not cover any warranty issues associated with it.

Any new news on this? I'm getting antsy and REALLY want a SC.

Also, the way my Acura dealer (an authorized Comptech reseller) stated it if you have the comptech part installed at any Authorized COMPTECH dealer, ALL Acura dealerships will stand behind the warranty.

I'm surprised I have not seen any data on what the power estimates are from the Comptech supercharger!

What is the claimed HP/torque increase?

Warranty?

How many stages? Power figures for those?

Comptech showed their TSX supercharger kit at SEMA and it was putting out 240whp or about 275 crank hp. Warranty will be the same as any comptech product. No word on "stages" but they have mentioned that an aftercooler will be available.

That takes the power/weight ratio up close to what the TL has. With the handling of the TSX and the power/weight of the TL, a supercharged TSX will be very close to the ideal car.

This power will appear right off idle too, emulating the power curve of a larger-displacement engine, rather than just spiking near redline like a centrifugal S/C or turbo does.

SC is great for hp down low right off idle but gaining traction off the line can be a problem.

now here is a good question for someone to ask the dealerships...

if they are using a hondata reflash for the compect S/C setup...which should be under warranty if installed by a certified installer (ussually dealership) wouldn't it just make sense that the hondata should not affect the warranty of the car if its already being required for the S/C setup...

The Quaife LSD for the RSX and the DC5R LSD can be used on the TSX. TSX007 went with the DC5R LSD a year ago and did a nice writeup about it here: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8536

Does the Quaife LSD piss off the traction control system like the DC5R one did? I think I remember reading something about always having to keep VSA turned off, but it's been a long time.

I'd buy it... but i'll wait for the aftercooler etc to be released. And for a few of you all to be guinea pigs first

240whp Gotta buy some tires to match those...

Dan, do you know if that setup was with comptech H/E and with an aftercooler?

Any word out on a single exhuast setup other than 5zigen?

I keep VSA off for racing and autoxing anyway. I wouldn't think of getting an LSD anytime soon though... have too many mods and too little time and money.
