Comptech Springs

Only a 1" drop front and back. I'm thinking this is just about what I want especially considering the time comptech usually puts in to making sure they work well with stock suspension. Anyone have any guesses on whether this more subtle drop will negate the need for a rear camber kit?

Question: will just changing the springs affect the stock shocks in any (negative) way?

the quick answer is yes. The springs have to be firmer to control the weight of the car in a shorter spring length. However seeing how the drop is minimal it might well be a negligible change. Also, if the springs are progressive like many of comptechs are on day to day driving there won't be much of a difference, the shocks will only come under extra wear when you really put the pedal to the metal.
