I think Comptech needs to update their list of authorized dealers. I contacted all Acura dealers on the list near me, and they all replied back stating that they no longer do comptech installs.

With that being said, does anyone happen to know of an Acura dealer in the NY/NJ metro area that would install the supercharger? =)

Isn't Park Ave Acura in Maywood, NJ an authorized Comptech dealer? I know they sell aftermarket stuff, i got my injen intake there and have seen comptech stuff there as well.

 

Yea, I contacted them. They told me that the tech who does comptech installs left, so they don't do them anymore.

 

Im pretty sure Open Road Acura in Wayne on Route 23 does them, when i was there they were running some special promo's for comptech spring so im pretty sure they do installs.

 

We are Comptech dealers and we offer installation. I am in CT though. I can get both the S/C Kit for you and do the installation. PM me with any questions you may have.

 

Paragon Acura in woodside, they advertise but i heard they're a work of art... bad service so dont go there..

There is several shops in NJ that install the Supercharger for 1/4 of the price an Acura dealership would charge you. Having that said, there is an experienced (14 years of certification) friend of mine who has installed 2 superchargers (TL) and numerous other installations that could install your S/C.

just PM me when you are ready to install that s/c. And did I forget to mention he charges 1/8 of the price an acura dealership would normally charges you? He also can install it with half the time. no joke.

Thanks for the replies.. I did contact open road of wayne, but they never responded. I am going to try them again. The reason I would like an acura dealership to install it was to avoid any hell when it comes to warranty work...plus get a free loaner out of it as well.
