Cai opinions please
I have 11k miles on my 06 and am ready to re-flash and Cai.
I figure this is the most bang for the buck without getting into header, K-pro, etc
My question is noise and durability.... being an older driver...58, yeah call me grandpa....I still have my lightening reflexes though...and my teeth...lol.
I do not want an extreme noise maker.....
What is your experiences with CAI and noise....I realize it is not going to sound stock...but I do not want a POS Neon with 29.00 muffler sound either...
Thanx in advance

I've been driving with a K&N CAI for about a week now and have been very pleased. The noise is only prominent when you are at wide open throttle. Otherwise it's very liveable. The car has more of a snarl now, and revving is freer and easier. It sounds great to me.
Per JTso, the K&N is the way to go. I've noticed no loss in torque, as has been reported by Injen owners, an the design and construction is better thought out. FWIW, I also have a Comptech header and the Hondata reflash.
I've been really happy with the intake so far

i second that reply! i too got my k&n typhoon for 65$ shipped (off amazon.. used) hehe way worth it! even comes with the drycharger unlike the injen...
i also put a few slits in my grill cover on the side [mines an 06 also]
these slits would theoretically force air into the slit.. through the intake.. and back out the slits that are already present in the fenderwell

I have had my injen CAI for about two weeks now and I really enjoy it. The sound is awesome at WOT and its pretty unnoticible with normal driving conditions. So I highly recoment the injen. Its also easy to install.
