In my old civic cx with b16 I ran a tractor battery about that size to save 15+lbs up front. Thanks for reminding me I was just thinking this morning to look for something for the TSX that could get close to the CCAs we need to start yet be lighter. Our car is a fatty up front, any help it can get would be good. Order it and let me know how it goes

One of our vendors was offering racing batteries not too long ago. Check the black market too.

yes, but this battery is also likely what braille relabels and sells as "racing batteries"

If it provides the requisite CCA and A/h then nothing else matters.

I seriously doubt buddy club has their own battery factory so you should probably find out whos stuff they are relabeling and if that vendor is really so much more reputable. . .

Which Deka model # are we looking for here?? I wonder if they sell it in Toronto Canada.

I've read alot of Club RSX forum post regarding on Deka Battery, and it's ocnfirm that Braille is re-labe the Deka and sell it as their Racing Battery, so it's all positive. The weight is 1/2 less than stock, and the CCA is higher than stock?

The ETX14 AGM is also being sold under other brand names. This little guy has only 200 CCA which is about 1/2 of the OEM battery at 410 CCA! No thanks.

didnt u write somewhere that the oem battery is 28lbs? 17lbs off for only $60 is a hot bargain performance wise. i paid $200 to take off 20lbs w a carbon fiber hood and $1k to take off 20lbs at the wheels.

did the deka have any fitment issues?
