Brembo Blanks vs. Slotted rotors
Will the performance benefits of slotted rotors be put to use on a daily driver that sees no track time?
From what I know the point of slotted rotors is to keep the rotors cool under extreme conditions and reduce brake fade (eg auto-x). Theoretically, wouldn't Brembo blanks provide better performance for daily driving on the street, greater contact patch = greater stopping power? (considering the rotors don't heat up any where near the temps they would reach at the track)
I personally don't see the benefit of slotted rotors for a car that doesn't get any track time. I occasionally do some spirited driving through local backroads, but even then I don't think I can heat up my rotors enough to experience brake fade. At least not without risking killing someone.
I've been reading a lot of threads of people switching over to slotted rotors, what am I missing? Anyone want to throw in their two cents?

Been discussed before, Brembo blanks is all you need. Better pads will do more compared to the slots (of the same rotor size) for a daily driver. Slots give you the most surface area while providing your pads the ability to release gases while under friction. However, for a daily driver, a good set of pads will give you more than enough braking on the Brembo blanks.
