With the topic in mind, unless you're willing to spend the big $'s and go the "big brake" refit route, slotted/vented rotors, etc. is the way to go. As for drilled rotors, based on what research I've read here and other places, unless, as been said before, you will need to spend the money for the real deal "formed" rotors and not knock-off drilled ones. My conclusion is drilled cast rotors = cracked rotors. And at what real benefit vs. a cracked rotor? I think that's a bad bet.

^ I know. But we do have a "be nice to n00bs" policy. If it was someone who has been around and gotten used to the members' posting style then its one thing. But to come out and rip on a n00b's momma is quite another. I know you toughen up the newbies before we send them to ramblings but just go easy on "boot camp" we want them trained, but alive.
