alright before i even begain read alot about diff intakes n such each one seems to be weather you want loud or not. Currently i have the ct ib with dc headers rtcat and ur ss pulleys on a 04at.

Should i stick with the icebox and do the k&n mod to it? (no thread had a clear more or less answer to performance). Or should i join the cai club?

Again im not asking for just the intake alone, im asking for whats the better intake with all these mods? Noise wise i dont care as long as i dont sound like a civic or redlining when im only crusing. Im looking for Max hp and torque. To me it seems like the icebox is a good mod but doesnt do much to help other mods while cai's are made to help other mods rather then it itself, am i wrong or is it better to make the switch? and yes i know i have an auto lol

 

If you want to sacrifice some of the torque you have in your everyday driving range just to get a higher peak hp number, go for the CAI!

 

^^haha i take it cai is only good for the top end no matter what mods you got correct?

 

The longer legnth of pipe increases the resistance of the air intake. Its not until high rpm when this loss is offset by being able to draw in cooler air...

 

Get the Injen CAI that can be converted to a SRI. Thats what I have and I like it. Try both modes and find out what one works best for you.
