I think that the window spoiler would be P.I.M.P.I.N.G! I've seen quite a few Merc C230s with them, but theirs actually protrudes rearward; much like a tail.

thats the only site it has ever been found on. there is a member that has it and he got it through an import company in the US. most of those companies have people that can speak many languages so just find one and see if they can get it.

Isn't it just a sunshade? (Like side window visors.) It stops the sun getting the back of your neck for rear passengers. Lots of different manufacturers offer them in Australia.

I don't think it's technically a "spoiler".

Look for a dealer who sells visors rather than body kits.

I am interested in this part just depends on the price. dont really want to spend more than like 500 on it and that is pushing it.

I kind of like the look. I had something like this years ago (on an RX-7) that fastened with 3m type tape. (It was the same kind of material that was used to create "smoked" covers for lights.)

The product on the TSX above looks to be a lot different than that, though, and I'd like to hear more about it. Does it need painting? (It could be a "smoked" shade, like the one I had and others I've seen.) How does it attach?

Put me down as a definite "maybe".

I am 99% sure that it is made out of fiberglass and needs to be painted. from talking to someone last night that has one it supposdily needs to be glued on too.

Do you think it would be possible for a vendor to order these for us or maybe do a groupbuy on these back window spoilers?

Is that better? Last time I checked, and I never used the word hate, just didnt care for, it's only an opinion. Everyone has one, that's what makes us uique as our TSX's.

Wow, that's original. So now we have personal attacks on someone's opinion. Coming from someone that cannot spell, I guess that was to be expected.

I prefaced my remark with the fact that I dont care for the visors either, so obviously it was implied that you take my opinion with a grain of salt on this rear window visor. Next time I will spell it out more clearly for such an internet tough guy like yourself, so I don't get sand in your vagina.

The problem is, this is a thread for people interested in this item. If you don't like the part the thread is not for you, so you should post elsewhere.

People don't like being criticised for something they like. Go figure. Unsolicited comments like this open the door to reaction. So, if you are going to crap on people's preferences, don't be surprised when they get pissed.

well said.

L1StarTSX: Shadowledgz posted pics of his car to show the spoiler people were asking about. people are asking cause they like it. I can see if someone posted in there own thread pics of there carand you said you like the car minus item 1 and item 2 but this whole thread is about people trying to get info about getting a certain part. no where did it ask for you derogatory opinion.

Only thing that was surprising was the fact that at least 3 others said they didnt care for it, and my post got jumped on. No worries, point taken

Moving on.

Don't forget the comment about the other car looking like a "shopping cart"!

I think it was the "visor" comment that pushed them over the edge.

OK, seriously.. It is kind of interesting with the visors, in that it kind of matches in that photo...

I look forward to seeing what y'all do with the rear shade. If it needs painting and taping, I'll probably pass, but I guess I'd prefer something that was just molded plastic like a visor, and clipped into the window somehow, although, I dunno if that could be done (like it could in say a hatchback).
