Any word on Skunk2's composite fuel rail?

Skunk2 has been advertising a composite fuel rail for months (maybe over a year), and finally it's posted on their web site for sale.

The main selling point is that it keeps the fuel cooler, resulting in gains of up to 3%.

I'm not sure whether this part is actually shipping yet. Has anybody heard anything?

"gains of up to 3%". If our current rails are getting fuel, hot or not, the injector is pushing the same amount into the cylinder, so it isn't like this is make fuel easier to put in there... its a constant. For $224, though I'd like to think this does something, can be better spent elsewhere.

I thought the gains might be similar to those of Hondata's heatshield gasket. From Hondata's website re: the heatshield gasket: "Fact: For every 3.3 °C (5° F) rise in intake temperature, air density drops 1%. The hotter the air, the less fuel the computer injects to compensate for reduced oxygen. "

Does the temperature of the fuel rail have any impact on the computer's fuel ratio calculation, or has the calculation been made somewhere in the intake system prior to the fuel rail? If the fuel rail is too late in the chain, then your point is well taken.
