Another newbie

Hey everyone!

I just bought an 07 TSX PWP/Parch w/Nav!! and i am already in love with it.

Already got bit by the mod bug, although it was a small bite. I just installed a K and N air filter, the windows are getting 35% all around next week, and I am shopping for rims!

Love the forums, your cars are awesome.

Id post a picture of my car but since I am new, I dont know how.

welcome and many miles of safe motoring to you. I am the proud owner of a 06 MR/eb 6spd w/nav for 7 months. (bought new) It has 17,000 miles and no mods (love it the way it came). was thinking of window tints but do not want to pay an extra $35.00 a year to get them inspected. (in Nc) do not feel bad I do not know how to post pictures either. One of these days I will figure it out.

It figures my work would block that image site. Oh well. Just look at any other stock PWP and imagine it sitting in my driveway.

I havent cut my grass in a while so also imagine an uncut lawn.

And I have a hot girlfriend, so imagine her draped over the hood with a bikini on.

Welcome to the family!!

You can try photobucket also: http://photobucket.com/ I like image shack a little better.

Also, you might lose your TPMS depending on the type of aftermarket rims you pick. You might search to find out if members were able to transfer the sensors from the stock rims to the aftermarket ones OR had to purchase replacement sensors.

Thanks for posting up a pic. Although for the life of me I can't understand why people ask for pics of new bone stock TSX's. Have these people maybe not seen one in the road, in magazine's, commercials etc.... in the 4+ years the car has been on the market?

Check out acura.com if you want to see pics of bone stock TSX's.

Looks nice. I was never real crazy about the TSX white (PWP), but after living with a PWP/ebony 2007 loaner for a day this week, I was starting to warm up to the color. I still don't like it in certain lighting (looks yellowish), but it looks great in other conditions.

Should propose a new forum rule.

Actually its not stock. It has a Kand N air filter. So its officially modified.

And sorry for wanting to feel a part of the discussions. We cant all go out and spend thousands on mods right away.

I think Dom might need to relax and let us post whatever we want. Maybe they have strict rules about this in Canada and I just dont know about it yet.

For the life of ME I cant understand why grown ups post pictures of weird robot looking things as their profile picture. But to each his own...

STFU NooB

Did I tell you not to post or take part in discussions? Did I not welcome you?

My comments weren't directed at you. They were directed at the people who ask for pics of someone's new TSX, which happens far too often around here. I thought someone had asked in this thread. I was mistaken, but my point stands.

And WTF does Canada have anything to do with this? try harder next time.

As for the robot comments again, try harder.

And at your car being modified.

Is noob supposed to be offensive?

And everything I say is in good fun... i.e. the comment I made about my car being modified.

No need to read into it too much. Sorry to bring Canada into it. I actually enjoy Canada very much. Great bacon.

Sorry to ruffle feathers!!!

You can search for the KPTechnologies window up module as our windows already come down with the fob. (keeping in the spirit with your emoticon comment)

Also do a search on Easter Eggs thread. You may find a bunch of the stuff you like already there.

So did your "windows down with the fab" come standard with the car? If so, why does my 07 not have that? Or does it and I just dont know about it?

You just don't know about it. It is well documented around here, but I'll forgive the noobness and explain:

1. Put fob in hand
2. Focus finger to unlock button
3. Click unlock twice, holding the button down on the second click.
4. Be amazed as the windows come down.
5. OPTIONAL: release button for desired window down height.

So does it matter which finger I use to press the unlock button? Do I have to do a dance while the windows are going down?

I am amazed by your wisdom oh might Moda_way. You should write a book.

Cant wait to get out of work and play with that!

Thanks man.

... do you ever have any meet and greets in Ohio? I am in Columbus.

I haven't written a book, but I do have a few DIYs and it is kind of nice to have this knowledge, but if you want the Bible on the TSX, bug JTso, dom, Dan Martin, and jlukja (but he doesn't mod much, lol).

There simply aren't meets in Ohio honestly. Met Dan Martin at Mid-Ohio for SCCA WC 2 or 3 years ago. However, most drivers are mom's (I'll accept MILFs of course, very few of those), so the population is slim. Marketman is close by and has probably the largest modded TSX in Ohio.

Here is where you can get creative, make a statement. You can tell a lot about a person depending on which finger they use:
thumb - gruff, neanderthal, uneducated
index finger - conventional, pedestrian, simple and to-the-point
middle finger - vulgar, eurocentric, promiscuous
ring finger - royal, unconventional, interesing
pinky - gay, openminded, likes to try new things.
