Adding CarPC to Non-Navi Accord

Adding CarPC to Non-Navi Accord
May be someone already thought about to install a PC to a non-Navi Accord/TSX (mine is Accord 06, 5AT with integrated CD changer)
I’m thinking to install a CarPC (potentially mini-itx) and replace panels of the central unit from a Navi enabled modification (panel with a touch screen and upper panel with sub display). The question is whether it is possible to hook PC to the stock head unit (with CD changer) and manage it via the touch screen as it is done in the native Navi?
If it is not possible at all, is it possible to add OEM Navi without replacement of the head unit?
Will TSX Navi (not interior panels) fit in to Accord?
Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, one guy did the carPC thing, one has converted non-Navi to Navi
wait...you have a USDM Accord ? if so, why you asking here ??
Anyway...
Ever been to mp3car.com ? It's all about carPC.
>>> is it possible to add OEM Navi without replacement of the head unit?
I think for the TSX, Navi and HU is one integrated unit.
>> Will TSX Navi (not interior panels) fit in to Accord?
not sure

Check the av section. Someone is trying to do that now. The hard part is reverse engineering the databaus on the OEM touchscreen. You have your work cut out for you.
You can also just go with one of the Lilliput touchscreens and put it in your bin area. That way you retain the factory changer, radio, and XM if you have it. Just hook up the carputer through the aux input.
Anyway, check the AV section. This thread will probably get the lock soon. :ibtl:
