04 A/T TSX on DynoDynamics

Went to ATX Motorsports last night and ran a few runs on their machine.
It is sad to say that even after all the aftermarket parts, the car topped out at 150.0 HP @ 7200 RPM. Again this is a 2004 A/T with: Hondata reflash, Injen CAI, CT Headers, Random Tech CAT, & Tanabe exhaust. I have the chart just have to scan it into the comp

Here is a video of the last run

Will make another post after the supercharger is installed.

Assuming a stock 04 is 185 by todays SAE HP calculation methods, and there's 15% driveline loss, that comes out to 155-160 hp at the wheels.

It depends on the dyno, the conditions, the state of your car's tune. But it seems low regardless.

Had a long talk with the owner and he said the DynoDynamics machine runs way lower than a Dynojet does. He told me a stock WRX runs about a 210 on his machine and if i had brought in a stock TSX it would run about a 120. Supercharger is supposed to add 50 to the wheels so hopefully I will be able to break 200 next time.

Yeah, that is a little on the low side. When I was stock, I put down 165 whp on a dynodynamics. With that being said, all dynos are different though and you really can't compare dyno numbers from one dyno to the next. So as long as you stick with the same dyno, then comparing numbers will be accurate.

Good luck with the SC and keep us posted after the install!

Were you using stock wheels when you did yours?

No, I was on my aftermarket wheels. I have 18" Advan Kruezers. It was on Comptech's dyno.

I heard dynos vary, so I wouldn't sweat the numbers too much. It's all about the gains and a SC will definitely give you that
