XM radio activation

I got my new TSX '05 on Friday.

The XM radio worked for 2 days.
Now it does not work.
I mean in XM-1 and XM-2 all I hear is request to purchase the XM subscription.

I thought XM is free for first 3 months.
Do I need to activate it? How it works?

Go to the dealer and have them figure it out... or call XM directly. I am sure that they have it on file that you have 3 months free. While you are at it, see if you can get another month free for your troubles.

I never had to activate it. I've had my car for 3 weeks and XM is still working.

Did you program any stations into the radio? If you are just hitting the mode and channel button on the steering wheel that is all you will here. I had the same problem until I used the turner and programmed in some of the different stations.

was automatic for me... Also you do need to go to a channel further than one, cause that channel says the same shit about subscribing to me too.

If you have navi push the voice button and say XM channel 40

You can send a refresh signal to your radio from XM's website. Just make sure your car is on and parked where it gets a signal for half an hour or so.

While there sign up for their weekly email, it's really good, tells you what's going to be on.

I <3 XM.
