X-Pel paint protection/clear bra

Just wanted to know if its hard to install this product on bumper and weather or not better than getting the regular black bra.
Also wanted to know if headlight x-pel kit is easy to install and if it is noticeable once on the lights.

cruzingsilver: I've ordered the ClearMask kit for mine. It's the only one I could find that covered the underbody spoiler. I also got the light kit. It should come in in the next few days. I'll post a report on ease of application.

Did you get the Scotchgard or Aerogard version?

The light kit didn't look too difficult to install when I watched my installer install it. But that was only watching.. You don't really notice them...works great for me
You have fog lights too?

ya got fog lights but heard that there was trouble with that?

Also, is it easy to install the protection for the headlights only compared to the clearbra?

yeah...here you go:

Basically just don't leave the fog lights on while you're not moving for a long time...and you'll be fine.

Yeah, headlights are alot easier than installing the clear bra on the car since there aren't that many curves...

I'm not sure if they all use the same material...
But there are a couple other companies out there, but I can't think of who they are at the moment...

Yes Stoneguard is supposedly somewhat better, and there's I think it's called dynaguard which is supposedly the best clear bra you can get, though quite pricey. There's a couple of others, I remember hearing that Xpel does not generally provide the same levels of coverage as the other two, though as far as I know, they all use the same materials, just cut different ways.

btw, I wrote XPEL and asked if it was possible to order the foglight protectors without the headlight protectors (in twenty five years of driving, never had a headlight broken). No dice.

kangjin: I got the AeroGard. Price was the same and the promotional literature seemed to give it a very slight edge. It's probably six of one, half a dozen of the other. They're both 3M products. I'll let you all know when I have a chance to install it.
