Picking up a sweet used 2004 TSX with tons of goodies for extremely cheap!

I gotten to like both Honda and Toyota, but Toyota styling is soooo blah...

Looks like there's a lot loyal honda owners. Me and my family included.

1985 Honda Civic
1988 Honda Prelude
1995 Acura Integra
1997 Honda Accord
1998 Honda Accord
2004 Acura TSX
2005 Honda Pilot - Soon!

Honestly, I like how hondas are built, clean interiors, and after years and years it still looks good and works decent.

1996 Accord Sedan LX
2000 Accord Sedan LX
Both cars were boringly reliable and boring.

My family is Big 3 Japanese loyal as we've owned 2 Hondas, 1 Acura, 1 Infiniti, 1 Lexus, and 1 Toyota. The only thing missing is a Nissan but that probably won't happen.

I was actually considering buying the 2004 nissan maxima, but it ended up being to expensive for all of the options I wanted (~30k+). So I then was thinking about the accord V6, but I didn't like the fact that it was non-sporty looking. Friend, turned me toward the tsx (he has an 2002 CL-S) and I fell in love.

I had an:

88 accord lxi
93 civic ex coupe
97 Prelude SH
04 TSX

I was actually TRYING to get out of the honda family, but I couldn't find anything as nice, reliable and perfectly priced as the TSX.

I never had a honda car, but I had a 2000 Honda CBR 600F4 that I loved and would have never got rid of. Some A-hole stole it though.

1990 Honda Civic Si (which I traded in for a...)
1992 Honda Accord EX
2004 Acura TSX 5AT

I had the Accord for 12 years and put 315,000km on it. I wanted to buy a new Accord, but I really don't like the new look of the North American Accords now. Then I found out about the TSX and its relationship to Accords elsewhere in the world. I spent a lot of time researching the car before I bought it. I think it's the perfect balance of performance and economy. I hope Honda scraps the current North American Accord design and follows the rest of the world on styling.

The reason Honda decided to make a North American version of the Accord (different from the rest of the world) is because that's what the market here wanted. Back when they only had one version, they ended up with a compromised design that was too big for the asian and european markets yet still too small for the NA market. By having two difference designs, you can better reach the targeted market in each sector. Unless those markets align (which is doubtful), I don't see Honda moving away from two Accord platforms.

Of course I knew that Infiniti is made by Nissan and Acura/Honda + Lexus/Toyota. I just meant that my family has never had a car that had Nissan BADGES on it like the 350Z, for example. I guess I should've been more clear from the start.

I have a 99 Civic LX 4-door that i got my junior year of high school. Now since I have just graduated college and have nothing but good luck with the car...my dad and i figured that the acura tsx was the best next step up. (my dad has also owned a CL-type s with nav and absolutely loved it so he is biased too!) I am sooo excited to get mine....i ordered a 2005 TSX CG 5AT non-navi that is gonna arrive around the 20th of this month! cant wait!!!
