WTF...side mirrors
I've got a quick question, how come you can't see the TSX side mirror signal lights from the back?
I was following a TSX and I saw his mirror blinkers...is there something wrong with mine? or how would you mod it so you could see them CLEARLY from behind...like the BenZ appeal :-D...or even GM

i dont really understand what you are saying.... you ask why you cant see the mirrors from the back, but then you were following a TSX and saw his mirror blinkers, which is one is it?
You cant see the blinker from the drives seat but people behind (and behind on the side) can see them.

Yea what they said ^^^ They are designed so you can't view them from inside the cabin, yet they are visible if your a vehicle behind.

What I'm trying to say is, I don't think ALL TSX's have side mirrors where people can see them from the back...because i sure as hell can't see my blinkers when im standing 15 feet behind it

New to the 2005 TSX are XM® Satellite Radio, a passenger's 4-way power seat, illuminated steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls and heated, power-operated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals.

I like how i can't see the mirror signals from inside ther car, but can from behind the vehicle. This is much better than the distracting blinking of a bright LED turn signal, especially at night when you are trying to look through your side mirrors during a lane change. I know because I test drove a passat with the mirror signal blinking in my eye when i was trying to do a lane change.

ALL CARS have blinkers in the back...even your mom's geo metro...but if I'm gonna drop 30k on a car that is suppossed to be a poor man's 3 series...I expect the perks of being "noticed." And frankly, if the side mirror blinkers are only on the front--and can't be seen from the back...I award the great intuitive "WTF" award to the Japanese once again.

Why would I care if someone can see my side mirror turn signals from behind? The turn signals on the back should be enough.
and face it--most of you bought this car to IMPRESS...
so why the harsh comments from morons like CJAMS who are at work with nothing better to do and other pansies with GINORMOUS post counts...I was looking for a a way to HAVE people see the side mirror blinkers from behind...IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR?

There is really nothing you can do about it now, so why expend so much energy about something pointless. Are you really going to sleep better at night know that someone will see two blinkers from the rear? Calm down and get over it or go buy a car that better pleases you!

All the TSXs are the same in that respect (unless modified). If you can't see one TSX's mirror signal from behind then you can't see ANY TSX's signal from behind, including yours or any of your friends'. Your asked why, because it wasn't designed to be seen from behind. Nothing is stopping you from modding yours.
