I just bought it 3 weeks ago with 50,000 miles. I pulled out in front of someone that I didn't see coming. It's at the body shop already but I won't know if it's totaled for a few more days. The driver's side airbag and the front & back curtain airbags deployed. The frame doesn't appear damaged. Do you guys think I'll have to buy a new car?

 

since it is at the body shop=just wait until they decide. Just be thankful-it could have been worse. How much damage did the other car get.

 

OUCH. Sorry to hear that, I know you have a huge pit in your stomach. I think a lot of it will depend upon your insurance company, when multiple bags glow, they sometimes consider the car a write-off due to the cost of new bags, new sensors, installation, and calibration. If so ... maybe you could salvage it into a racer. (Though, I believe when insurance companies give you a full write off, they take the car and sell it to a salvage yard. Basturds.)
