Just not comparable.

I considered the WRX STi - then I looked at the insurance rate for the WRX and the insurance rate for the TSX.
Well, you can guess how the decision process went from there.
It's not always about the cost of the car - sometimes, it's the maintenance of the car that matters more.

I am 24 and graduated college last May. Being a substitute teacher I think that if I pulled into the school parking lot with an STI people would look at me weird. When I drive in with me tsx I feel more mature when I'm in a professional enviornment. Now if you were asking this question 3yrs ago my answer would be different. The overall package of the TSX is better.

I actually had this decision to make (not for a trade, but the purchase itself). I was going to buy the STi. I drove the TSX when it first came out & loved it, but I was about to turn 30 & had never had a "really fast" car & was going to purchase a WRB STi with gold rims. The local dealer drug me around for a week & still wouldn't get the price where I wanted it ($600 or less for 72 months or less), so I walked. They esentially wanted me to pay $50k for a $30k car. I then got in contact with a dealer in Atlanta (via the internet) about the STi & was about to purchase it from them. I was in Nashville & decided to stop by the Acura dealership to see if they had a CGP or ABP TSX on the lot (as I'd never seen those colors in person) & to see the new TL (gorgeous car). They had a CGP, but not with the options I wanted. Within 30 minutes, I was on my way home having just ordered my CGP, 6-MT with navigation. It's the best decision I could've made. I just drove the car to Orlando & back & it was a joy the entire time. Don't get me wrong, I'd still love to have an STi, but not unless I could keep my TSX too.

Too many logical people here. Logic is bad for the economy, didn't you know that???

I bet you if I went to a Dubya board and asked them how many of them would rather vote for Kerry... you wouldn't get too many affirmative responses.
