although i know it is pretty impossible to hydrolock during normal rain, I think this would make me less nervous. do you think it would fit the Fujita filter?

OP - I agree a bypass valve would be of more value. I fail to see how this would prevent hydrolock if you were in a situation where it might happen. If your filter is fully submerged in water that mesh cover isn't going to do anything to prevent it from happening.

can;t use the bypass valve with the Fujita CAI because of the battery tie down location. And yes the Injen Hydroshield will work on any cone style filter because it comes in multiple sizes.
However; it will not protect anything in the event you submerge it. But it's designed to keep "spray" out of the filter, so throwing water through the vents in the fender well from your tires.

i'm not too worried about the filter ever fully submerging. i would just like something to protect it from pulling in water from the fender vents when it is raining. i'm wondering if something like that actually works though
