Would 3m Film Burn With Hid Heat On Fog Lense.??

hey guy i was looking at alot of post about this fog ligt crack lense issue and i was thinking.i wanna put hid on my fogs and also a 3m film to protect the lense would the heat of the hid actually burn the 3m film on the lense .??????

Negative. Our halogen bulbs are a 60w bulb. Which can burn the film easily. HID's are a significantly lower watt bulb. Most HID's (you should check your bulbs) are 35w. You should have no problem whatsoever.

anyone with hids on the fog light with a 3m film over lense ????

as he just said.. you will have no problems running protective film with an H11 HID kit

Yeah HID's give off half the heat of halogens so no problems

Why don't you get 3000K HID conversion for your fog lights instead of putting a film on your fog lights?

naw im putiing a film so the lense on the fog light wont get crack by rocks and stuff.. not for color. just for durability
