1987 Ford Ranger Pickup:

Would start when it felt like it and would stall out at highway speeds! I'd have to restart it going 70 mph. And the traditional Ford alternator whine...

My wife owned a '92 Saturn SL. Felt like I was riding around in one of those plastic battery powered toy cars that kids can drive around, only without the torque.
