looks like 20% in the rear windows and 35% in the front windows. exactly what i got on my black/black tsx.

Sorry...it's 20% all the way around. The front looks lighter because of the angle, you are looking through the windows and then out the windshield where there is no tint.

I believe the tint type is SunGard Tint. I had it done at http://www.hotspottinting.com/

How does the tint look on the the CG color in real life? Does 20% seem to be the sweet spot? I've seen some CG with dark tint, and really didnt like it in pictures.

Well I like the dark tint on my car, and on all cars. I think that if you're going to get the windows tinted on your car, might as well get it dark enough so that it actually looks like the windows are tinted.

I personally think it looks good though...otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it done.

Is 20% on the front windows legal in Florida?

I don't know as I don't live in Florida. You'd need to call a tint shop and ask them what is legal for your state. Here in GA 35% is the legal limit, but you can get it darker and unless you go really dark (like 10% or 5%) you will normally not be bothered by the local police. I leave my sunroof shade open most of the time also, and with the Quartz (read lighter) interior, the tint doesn't look as dark as it would with Ebony interior.

I've seen his car in person, and it looked great with the tint!
Wiz, what did you think about the tint on my car? I had the dealer throw it in for free to make the final sale, so I'm not sure what it is, but my husband thinks it's probably the legal limit for Indiana, which is 35%.

Living in CA sucks. Does that mean tint isn't allowed in CA according to that website? I swore it was...

.......good thing I live in Las Vegas....I can put %5 all the way around and tint the windshield completely.......kinda sucks driving in dark residential areas, but in the day when its 120 outside, its cool...
