Now if you drive a 100k+ car you can be anal all you want, but with the TSX i don't know why you would be so anal about it since it's your daily driver car, of course it'll get some dents, dings, scratches here and there, it's from normal use. Don't expect 5 years down the road that your car will be scratchless. Little scratch around the key ring? Dude! you need to go see a doctor for OCD.

I hate when my sister takes my car.

Candy wrapers, drinks, cd's everywhere, Kleenx in the side door pockets...her nails scratch the streeing wheel leather. The list goes on and on...

ohhhh man i don't think that you're that anal about the car.... you're just passionate about it... i have a similar problem with my gf and she tells me that i love my car more than her.... i just like to take care of my belongings....

i dont have a tsx (i have an accord) yet!!! but i just hate it when anyone eats in the car and all these crumbs gets on the seats of the car, fingerprints on the windows, scuff marks on the frekken door sills, and when people put their legs up on my frekken leather seats which creates creases on my frekken leather.... ahhhhhhhhhh...

Mine's stored in the garage in the winter, on blocks, trickle charger, and car cover... no winter elements !!!

Drive my civic 97 beater in the winter... bumps and bruises and scratches.. who cares??

In the summer, I park my TSX 6MT in the garage at home, every night...

In the winter, my civic gets to sit outside in the -30C snow and ice, (while the TSX is in the garage)... I guess I'm anal........

And the best is my wife does NOT drive a manual....!!!!

in another convo with some friends and their respective significant others, one girl said 'why do guys care so much about how their car looks?'

my friend then responded saying 'girls take care of their faces. you put on makeup to make it look nice. guys take care of their cars and make it look nice.'

girl did not appreciate the metaphor. haha.

wow, i thought i was really anal about my TSX too, but it looks like i'm not the only one. i also hate when people touch the inside of the windows. i also make sure that when passengers open the door to not scratch the car when doing so.

I know this might be abad example, but if your wife drove the car, someone tboned them and totalled the car, would you be more concerned for them, or the car?

j/k. of course family is more important. i'd never put my own personal enjoyment with my car over my wife or family. but i'll admit, if that scenario were to happen, and i knew my family was ok, i'd then proceed to cry in the fetal position over the car getting totaled in my sleep.

I'm a girl and I don't treat it like a garbage can. I was really anal about parking far away from others, washing it by hand etc. etc. until it got dinged!

It all went downhill from there, now I don't even wash it because the dust covers the bumper damage and in my eyes it still looks brand spankin new

BUT the inside is still clean...
