ive never seen an evo with leather. and our dealer only has one in at a time and you can't drive it until you buy it. Evo was my dream car. but i wish they would have changed the interior a little cause its exactly the same as an OZ or regular lancer

Yea thats the downside. I hate that too. They try to make the regular lancer look more and more like the Evo. But yes for 04 they included a new package for the evo, to spice up the interior a bit.

For $2500
You get
-full leather interior (recaro leather)
-315watt Infiniti basslink sound system
-sunroof

Congrats Nocturnal! Not for me, but nice ride nonetheless.

Ever consider doing a wing spoiler delete option on that car? If that's even a possibility. I suppose you can always take that off and put something a little less ridiculous or leave it clean. I'm a big WRC fan and I can see the rally-authenticism and appeal of the large wing spoiler but if it were me, I think I'd grow tired of it real fast. The seats look very comfortable and grippy, and with a harness, that's looking like a nice track car. The availability of leather will definitely pull in more buyers for Mitsubishi.

Curious to see what kind of mods you will do to that car. Make sure to stop by sometime and give us an update with pics.

the evo w/o the spoiler just looks wrong IMO. I saw an RS w/o the spoiler and it looks like a crappy ralliart lancer. as gaudy as the evo spoiler is, it just belongs, the car is freakish to begin with

Why? Do you take it to the local drag strip on the weekends or something? Anyhow, you're probably confusing the term "need" with "want".

I don't think he'll be back to discuss this any further.

I know I needed more power on the way to work today

Yea, with the MIVEC in evo IX, it's really tempting...
I'll worship it until I can afford it...

Check the crash tests on the evo because they suck and if you wreck, especially from going so fast in that go cart you will simply die. (I think side rear impact was a 2) That made me check it off my list before. Maybe the Evo IX will fare better....
