Why do our cars only have 1000 rpm of aggressive cam?

Why do our cars only have 1000 rpm of aggressive cam?

i think our cars are the only ones in the history of Honda that does that

Yeah, but you are forgetting the fact that our non-Vtec cames are constantly being advanced/retarded from 4500RPM up thanks to the i-VTEC. All of this equals a much flatter torque curve and very balanced acceleration.

If you want the VTEC lobe sooner, get Hondata.

Hmm...Mine has 2600 rpms of high cam. Yours doesn't?

no, it's really a shame you can't redline at 8,200rpm

if the strokes weren't so long it wouldn't have a problem. but nah, I still prefer the TSX thank you.

I think it's 1300 RPMs of Vtec since the rev limit is at 7300. But yeah, that still isn't that great. When I had my first Hondata reflashing having 2300 RPMs of Vtec was great.
