Who has switched their H1 light bulb?

Wondering has switched their H1 light bulb to a super white or a more blue one? I have the Canadian model and I have Day time light on mine and I think that Yellowish H1 light looks ugly :sqnteek:

I plan to put a PIAA one on it and just wondering who has done the switch already,

thanks

I've done it and I love the whiteness of it . I used the PIAA Xtreme White Plus 4000K bulb.

I switched mine out...I think I used Philip's Super Whites or something...they put out the same amount of light as the stock Halogens but they look white and match the HID's now.

Some people here like the really bright ones like PIAAs to match the look of thier HID. I went for the Osram Silverstars because they have higher light output without upping the wattage. Too high of a wattage in your headlights can cause your headlights to melt from heat. Not too important for highbeams if you're just going to flash people..but for me I enjoy driving at night occasionas on mountain road, and I have to leave the highbeams on.

I think you may have a problem matching the super white color. I have the PIAA bulbs also and they look great for high beams, but if you are using them for daytime running lights the power put into the bulb is not as great as when the high beams are on, so they will look more yellowish. I hope that made sense????

I think that everyone who has replied so far has been from the US and we don't have daytime running lights. So remeber this when you make your decision.
