Who has floormats for TSX

Hey guys,

im looking for a cheaper alternative to the TSX floormats unless the TSX ones are reallly reallly good!

I want something heavyduty with deep grooves so that it gets the mat dirty and not the car and that also fits the car well! esp for the drivers pedals

Anyone have recomendations? I was looking online and found 2 brands: HIghland and Weathertech. Seem good as a cheaper alternative but DOes anyone know how good these are and how thick they are?

I really need something durable. Thanks

I have some cheap ass mats. But the gas pedal is going to be a problem with most of the non-cutable heavy duty mats.

I have some Rubbermaid mats I bought for $20 for the set. They have sections to trim off to get a semi custom fit. I'm hard on carmats and usually end up replacing them anually, so I can't justify the expense of the OEM ones.

I havent found any websites that have the OEM mats for cheaper than 112 after shipping. Anyone know of a good site??? I was hoping it would be around 90 after shipping.

How are the mats in terms of thickness. Are they heavy duty with deeep grooves or are they thinner???

I have the OEM mats.
The grooves is not that big when compared to an aftermarkey setup on my X5 but it works very well over Chicago winter. However, during this past winter it tuned out that the hinge at my gas pedal got dirty a bit due to the snow. All in all I'm happy with it.
It's VERY heavy duty AND thick. Whenever I take my car to car wash the guys who work there aren't happy at all cuz it's quite heavy compared to others.

Bought a black pair (Kravco?) at Target for fifteen dollars on sale. They are thick and heavy as hell, with deep grooves. Plus they were designed to be cut, so the fit is fairly good. Had considered buying beige because I have the tan interior, but could not be happier with the appearance of the black. They're nice book-ends to the black dash, so it all works beautifully.

If I'm not mistaken, putting mud guards on all four corners won't take you more than maybe 20 minutes...

installing the mudguards is a breeze. Don't pay labor for that unless they offer to do it free. All you need is a stubby philips screw driver. 20 mins tops.

So which gun turrets did u get installed Gibson? I got a mini gun put behind each high beam, I dare anyon to cut me off

They are talkin' about the all-season rubber mats.

You can get the mats at www.honda acura world.com (no spaces ofcourse) for 102.70 shipped.

Look on eBay. I bought my OEM all weather mats for $85 shipped from 'aofeparts' back in March 2004. You just have to look every once in awhile to get a great deal from someone.

asethi16... seriously the OEM all weather rubbers are amazing. I love them so much. Actually I didnt even put the carpet back in the summer. They say "TSX" on them too. I would try to get those if you can. I think its worth the money.

I actually went online and found the best price, printed it and brought it to my dealer and they matched it or beat it, cant remember which, but they at least matched it. I would do that

very good selection indeed I use them all year round and my carpet looks new still. Also has to do with the fact that no one brings food into my car.

Not sure if you saw it, but I sent you a PM with my Email Address and whatnot. Let me know how you want me to pay (Money Order, Paypal, etc. ) and if you could send a couple of pictures of the floormats so I know exactly what i am buying. Post them here, or just Email them to me. Thanks a ton.

Let us all know if you get what you thought. It looks like a pretty reputable site, but I've never ordered from them. I'd probably like to in the future, so I'd be interested in your experience.

OEM mats are good but the "groove" are hardly there. They are rather flat.

I think I'm going to test-fit these in the TSX tonight:

http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortmen...=1130272102053

I saw them yesterday and they are REALLY heavy duty, and probably over 1" thick from top-of-mat to bottom. Looks like they could hold a lot of water/slush/snow away from my pants, and keep the OEM carpets clean at the same time. I'll let you guys know how they fit.

There's carpet flooring, and then a carpet mat. Remove OEM fabric mat and put this on top.

its also saved me from dumb friends with food in their hands in my car...
