White TSX

I just got my 2006 Acura TSX recently, white with the navigation package. I love the car but for some reason I feel as though I should have got a TL, same price but no navi. IDK for the next 3 years I've got this and I got no complaints yet. I'll post some pics up soon.

Congrats on the new ride and welcoem to AZ!

There's threads on the differences people have felt about the TL and TSX - search for 'em and maybe some of your inner feelings will be answered

Congrats on the car and welcome to AZ! Keep driving the TSX, it will grow on you until you forget all about the TL!

I traded in a non-Navi '05 TL for a navi '06 TSX. You made the right decision. The TSX is better built (e.g. better panel alignment, fewer rattles), uses better materials (e.g. no dash fade or wrinkling leather) and is better designed/engineered (handling... 'nuf said!). Also, I am not sure if this is the first time you have had navi, but once you get used to it you won't consider a car without it. Enjoy your TSX!

Congrats!! you made the right choice.....I was in the same boat as you 3 months ago when I was looking at both the TSX and TL. Initially leaning towards the TL but after a back to back test drive of both cars the TSX won over. I had my TSX for three months now and I'm still excited in driving it.

To repeat what everyone said, 3 months ago I put a $1,000 deposit on a TL with Navi for way below invoice. Now I drive a TSX with Navi and loving it. Do I miss some of the extra luxury features and power of the TL? Sometimes, I do. But do I regret it? Nope.

TSX- lighter, more fun to drive, better mpg, Made in Japan

TL- a "japanese" car Made in Ohio, US, heavier, less mods to be done, good power however..

Nice its hard to keep clean thought. Hey your young might as well go the smaller and sporty feel while your young.

You can always step up to a tl or better in the future.

White - "Hard to keep clean" Are you kidding me? White is one of the easiest to keep clean.

Step up to a TL? I could have easily bought a TL, I did not want one, I wanted a TSX. Two totally different cars. Just because the TSX cost a few thousand less, certainly does not mean it is not as good or nice as a TL. I did not want a v6, I also wanted a car that would handle better than the TL.

For the poster who says the TL is heavier than the TSX, it's not by much if you think 200 pounds is significant.

Both are great cars, but the fact that mostly girls drive TSX's wasn't a plus for me.

I hear you. Everytime I see a TL I ask myself the same question, but at the end of the day I have a TSX and love it. So what are you going to do? If money isn't an issue just trade in your TSX for a TL and the end of that. I however hate make money losing decisions so I'm going to stand by my decision and try to keep my TSX for at least 7 years.

Plus, what's wrong with a TSX? What does the TL have that TSX doesn't have? Other than size and power, the TSX is basically a "baby TL."

I would love to see a girl driving a TSX...she'd sure be my kind of girl. But alas, in my area, only guys drive TSX's. Half of the TL's I see are driven by girls.

Same here, only guys drive TSX's around here. My friend, she bought a TL just recently, so yeah I'd have to agree, more women drive TL's than TSX's. Even my neighbor, she has a whole line of acuras in her driveway, and she drives a TL everyday =]

Now there are 3 CGP TSXs here, but mine is the only one with a spoiler

Does she have any sisters or cousins? jk

I just got back from hawaii...and although I didn't see many TSX's, the ones I did see were driven by guys

i had to make the same decision, but with a g35 and is300 thrown in the mix. my choice was easy: drive 40 miles to work one-way ... go with the best gas mileage. had i worked closer to home, it probably wouldve been an awd g35 sedan. enjoy!

So you never did explain why you think you should have gotten the TL. The power?

Yea it was really the extra power and idk, it looked sorta more badass. Tint that out and chrome the wheels would look really good. I also sorta like a bigger car but I guess my mom's getting a TL when the new model comes out in '08.
