I hope not for another 5-6 yrs myself. That was the only bad thing when you bought the Accord, Honda always redesigned the model every 4 yrs. You knew your Accord got outdated when the next gen arrived. Hope arrival date for the 2nd gen Tsx, prob 2007 or 2008.

I'm sorry euro I'm having a hard time getting you today. Why do you want a redesigned one, to outdate your own? You'll be in a G35 coupe by then anyway, right

Ive noticed too, u seem to post every car thought u have.
I also noticed (not to be picky or anything) that when you type "TSX" you type it "Tsx". I can understand if you get lazy and type "tsx", but you don't seem lazy when use type capitol "T" and lowercase "sx".

But didn't he say that he DOESN'T want it to be redesigned? I hope not either, cause i want to have the "newest" version for a while...

04EuroAccordTSX, suffering from buyers remorse?

As for the TSX, I am guessing the whole car will be redesigned in 2008 with a Fall 2007 introduction. I maybe wrong.

I think the TSX might get freshened in 2006 or something. Kinda like the current Civic got freshened for 2004 with new front end and side skirts.

As for the redesign, are you like totally clueless about Hondas (or cars in general?) The TSX will be totally redesigned in 4 to 5 years max, there will be a refresh in 2006 or 2007 depending on TSX sales. Every Honda (except the NSX) has either a four or five year generation span (most likely four) The last generation Accord sold very well, and thus they extended it to a five year production run (which I believe is the first for the Accord) Your TSX will be outdated (by the next TSX) just as fast as an Accord or any other Honda (which is in either 4 or 5 years)

But even before the next TSX comes, the 1st gen TSX (to many car enthusiast anyway) would be considered outdated since new cars come out almost every year or two; and people are always hyped about what is "new" Just like the new Gs and 350Zs which seems very played out already imo. So IMO, enjoy what you have and don't waste your time worrying about having the "newest" thing on the block because there will always be better and newer cars out. Matter of fact there already is lol.

Ok I read the 2nd part of the post, where he hopes it will be redesigned in 2007 or 2008 - 3 and 4 years away, respectively.

I don't want Acura to leave it as is for 10 years, but I hope they don't redesign it anytime soon. It's way too early to be thinking about it anyway.

euro, I conclude that you've got a big case of buyer's remorse. I'm afraid I don't know the cure. Well, I do, but it requires a lot of $$$

I wonder how many G35 owners have buyers remorse and wish they bought a TSX.

The last Integra had a 7 year run, the current Odyssey 6 years.

More like, I can't pay for anything because I bought an overly expensive car I can't afford. Don't get me wrong, its nice but mad $$$

This is the first model year and I plan on keeping it just like my dad kept his 1967 Camaro. He still gets all giddy when he takes it out of the garage.

Well...here are my predictions on a TSX refresh:

-New Acura "bar" style grille
-Headlamp refresh (maybe bi-xenon)
-Integrated fog-lights
-Tail-lamp refresh
-New wheel design
-Interior update
-New colors
-Better "planuminum"
-Added colors

I say the refresh will come in either 2005 or 2006. Acura has been updating cars (i.e. MDX) much quicker since the competition gets stiffer and stiffer.

i just wondered, thanks for all your opinions. i'm alright when there will be a 2nd gen Tsx. i was actually liked my 6th gen accord even more when they released the 7th gen last yr cause Honda really regressed on their styling in the 7th gen and made the 6th gen look conservative and classic styling.

i think the Tsx styling right now is classic and won't look outdated in 5-10 yrs.

Forgot one thing. As shown by the MDX, I think the TSX will enjoy added horsepower and torque...it's the Acura way
