What's the mileage in your car?
Mine is at 1200 miles and I've only had it 1 month. I don't drive the Tsx as much as I drove the Accord I had before. I got the 99 Accord to 95,000 miles in 4 yrs.

My tsx has a little over 6000 miles, I bought it back in April. My Civic just passed 6300 and I've only had it for 2 months (it had 18 when I picked it up)..

2400 miles since 12/13/2003, and I had it in the shop for 3 days trying to get a creaking noise fixed.

2395...since 12/9/03...drive about 75 miles per day. Put 71k in 2 years on my last car, 97 Prelude! I drive too damn much!

A paltry 8K kilometers since late June. My old commute of 3 minutes is to blame. Now the car is happier with my new 23 minute commute.

I'm still going to wait until it's almost 5000 miles before my first oil change..meaning no aggressive mountain driving yet

Check the manual. If you drive in "severe conditions," change the oil in 5k miles, or else 10k miles. I drive a lot of stop-and-go traffic, so that would put me in severe condition.

I checked my oil weekly, recently it has stopped burning "excess" oil. The oil is only slightly browned out.

it is recommended that changing oils every 3700 miles for Acura TSX

That is incorrect. Dealers recommend changing the oil at 3,000+ but I believe the manual says 10k miles for normal conditions and 5k for sever conditions.

that's right, but it wont do any bad if u change the oils a bit earlier than wut's saying on the manual. either way works out fine i believe

I picked up mine the first week of February with 8,400 miles and it now reads 10,650 miles. The original owner picked the car up on 7/29.
