Looks like it. That's one issue that hasn't been clear across the board about the TSX. Some say it was only a goal. Others say it's a limit for the entire model year. Others say it's only for the calendar year 2003.

The 2004 model year has barely begun. I can't imagine Honda passing up sales opportunities 'til the 2005 model year, which for the TSX I would guess would start in about a year.

I'm pretty sure that the 15,000 thing was an estimate. Obviously they'll make 30k if there selling as well as they appear to be. I'm curious if they will introduce the 05 in April like they did with the 04, or keep making the 04 till the usual model year changeover. With all the Acura salesman we have here someone should know something. Maybe there all in TL lala land and have forgotten about the TSX.

Acura just report 20k plus sales for the year.
The 15,000 production claims appear to be pure hype to show how few. Anyhow, they are on tap to produce 30,000 in a calendar year. Funny how they were able to double supply of unique components in no time at all from the suppliers.

That's good news! I don't like scarcity in an automobile because it means that parts are less available and more expensive.
