I was on the way to an Acurazine meet in Pasadena and I stopped to gas up. While I was inside, I noticed what looked like a couple of guys arguing by my car. I saw one of them proceed to lay down on the ground in front of my car and when I came out of the gas station, the guy on the ground jumped up and yelled, "I told you it was turbo". They then asked if I can pop the hood so they can check it out. When I did, all three guys whipped out their digi-cams and camera phones. I noticed they had rolled up in a Brand New EVO MR with no plates and one of the guys said, "I'd rather be driving this than your EVO anyday". They driver of the EVO said, "me too". I just smiled and blew-off as I was leaving

Got my first compliment today (I guess it counts as the best compliment since I've only owned the car for 3 weeks). I was sitting at a light and a 3rd Gen TL pulls up next to me and gestures like he needs to ask for directions, but he complimented me on my tint. He said it looked really good with the ebony interior and asked if it was legal and what tint shop I got it done at... he said he was going to get his windows tinted at the same shop.

Even though the compliment was several months ago, I thought I'd share. When I first got this car and drove it to the office, the visiting VP of Client services of my company who travels quite often between two offices (west coast and TN) saw my car while he was here and asked if we can go on a spin in it. The thing was, while test driving my car, he was dissing the mustang rental he was driving.

He says he drives a SAAB back home on the west coast and the lease is up and he's looking for a new car!

The first day I drove it to work I drove right past my boss, who has an RSX, and he thought it was a TL, mentioning how its bigger than the 6 and has a powerful v6 (which it isn't/doesn't)

I also get looks a lot from cars stopped at lights as I'm turning

Had a drive by compliment from a guy in an Acura TL3.2. He commented on the way my tinted headlights look. He really liked them.

cop: Ohh, nice, I thought it was a TSX but its hard to tell. I like it a lot, looks real clean
me: Thanks, I think it looks a lot better without them

Colleague of mine last week. We have a dinner with an old colleague this coming Wednesday. Says to me: "you'll drive, right? I want to sit in your beautiful car!"...
