What to look for in Exhaust.

What do you look for in a new after market exhaust system? i know the tip gotta be nice ;P but what else a nice deep sounding but not too annoying or loud? sorry im a super noob..im leaning more towards VIP rather than ricer help me out..

"LOOKS" forsure but performance wouldnt hurt.

Well you wouldn't gain much from performance with a catback since the oem exhaust already has great air flow. Unless you go single outlet or big time like j's racing, I wouldn't expect much gains. You can check out youtube to hear some of the exhaust offered for the TSX as some members opinions might be biased (applies to me as well). I have an greddy evo2 and I think it sounds phenomenal. Look wise, without a body kit it wouldn't look right. It might look "ricey" but the sound is clean. Having a body kit would make it fit in a lot better. From what I've heard from other members, skunk2's and dc's are relatively loud and not as clean. Again, I only heard this from other members. T1R is relatively loud as well.
