Hmmm, without putting that thing on a frame jig, I'd say you are looking at 5000 to $10,000 worth of repairs. The roof damage is what concerns me the most. Anyway, throw in depreciation, and a bit of risk premium and I think this car is probably worth $10,000.

I'm sorry, but any cost savings no matter how significant are not worth the hassle or the risk or the time. If I'm in the market for a new model car, then I am in the market for a NEW new model car. Period. End of story. Maybe this works great for CraZydudE or someone else out there, but I would rather drive a brand new focus than a majorly rebuilt TSX like this one. And if you think we have rattles now, what do you think this pos will sound like...

Why would it work great for me?

I'm already a proud owner of a brand new tsx

It's so sad.. A brand new TSX (30,000 dollar car) down the drain with a Salvage title. :'(

I've seen a posting on not being able to get a replacement windshield yet. You might have the same problem with the other required parts.

Hell if it were the same color as my SSM TSX I might have bought it just to have spare parts.

That's strange.. I saw this car a while back at ecocar.com, in fact, they are still selling it for $14,900; here's the link:

http://www.ecocar.com/viewer.asp?id=3907

I wonder who really owns it? Ecocar (which is in Miami, FL), or elitemotorcars (in New York)?

In any case, keep in mind that there is a big scam going on at ebay which often involve car sales. After bidding, the seller asks you to use an escrow agent to purchase the car, since it's fair for both parties. But the escrow website they want you to use is a fake website, built by the "seller".

Elitemotorcars is not far from me if anyone wants to buy it, I can make sure it is there. PM me?
