Warranty Questions

Does anyone know/heard or currently own a JM&A Group warranty? Or does anyone have suggestions as far as recommendations to a reliable and dependable warranty?

Get it directly from Acura.... way less hassle then getting a 3rd party warranty.
My friend used a 3rd party warranty and he pretty much got gang banged by them. Meaning, if you get a 3rd party extended warranty, if anything happen to your car you gonna have to have their approval first before you even have to deal with our lovely Acura Service Advisor. Sometimes you might have to pay out of your pocket first, then the 3rd aprty will reimburse......

When you have Acura Care extended warranty.... you only gonna be gangbanged by the service advisor..... then you can complain to their manager and have them gang banged by their manager for being a knucklehead....

Just sharing my friend's past experience...
Hope this helps...

Two

There are many but only two that get good write ups. As well as the money to back themselves up (so you know when you buy now they will be there 5 years from now).

http://www.1sourceautowarranty.com/

and Warrantydirect.com

I used the first one with my Wife's 1996 Audi A4. The guy was right though, Any job over 500 needed approval. But they did pay for a rental car for 3 days. They were a pain on rusted bolts, saying tha the dealer could re-use them. So we paid cash (16 dollars) to get new ones.

In all though, it was 1,800 to cover 10 years and 100,000 miles. We have used up about 4,000 dollars in repairs.

As for my new TSX, the would do 7 years, 100,000 miles for something like 850 to 900.

I thought I had a 'reliable' warranty company with WarrantyGold unitl their insurere went bankrupt which brought down ther house of cards. They were AA rated and no one saw it coming. I now stay with the Acure/Honda backed warranties. They may be $500 more BUT it does not take much in repairs to recover that $500. Never aftermarket warranty for me again.

It's not too late to get the Acura extended warranty. Its just going to be a bit expensive. The site that use to give a free online quote is no longer offering it online. I'll look into it.
